Over the next few months, this review will be hosting face-to-face workshops to explore issues, spark ideas and test our thinking.

Half day workshops will be held in metropolitan, regional and remote locations around the country.

Each workshop will include people drawn from different backgrounds, experiences with the public service, or roles in public service work.

Contributions will inform the thinking of the independent panel guiding this review.

Workshops for Australian public service employees

  • August – Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney, Illawarra, Brisbane
  • September – Canberra, Darwin, Alice Springs, Adelaide
  • October – Perth, Broome, Hobart, Canberra, Cairns

Our thanks to the public service organisations who have nominated more than 650 employees from every level to take part.

We’re pleased with the level of interest, engagement and support for these workshops.

Workshops for Australians

  • September – Brisbane, Melbourne, Geelong, Wangaratta, Darwin, Alice Springs, Adelaide, Ceduna
  • October – Perth, Broome, Bridgewater (Tas), Wagga Wagga, Cairns and Mount Isa

We’re working with the people who know these regions best to find participants for these groups, including regional development associations and local councils.

To express interest in joining a community workshop email apsreview@pmc.gov.au. Please note, there has been a lot of interest in these events. Your expression of interest is a nomination only and we will contact you directly to confirm attendance.

To complement these workshops, research continues as do our meetings with different people and groups.

We’ll be unveiling an online discussion forum soon as another place to contribute.
